C.H.E.E.R.S. Program

The Community Health Enrichment Empowerment Resource Services Program is a program that was created by the Philadelphia Police Department to provide at-risk youth, from ages 8-17, with the necessary tools to make better decisions when confronted with situations that may negatively impact their lives. The program will be conducted over five consecutive Saturday’s from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm.

Over two hundred at-risk youth will participate in the program. The program, strategically located in multiple locations throughout the city, will target the areas most affected by high incidents of violence. The program is a collaboration between the Philadelphia Police Department, the School District of Philadelphia, Behavioral Health Organizations, Community Groups, Private Interest Groups, and other city agencies.
