Founder Edna Reddick & Staff to be Feted at The Common Place.
The Myers Tot Day Care has helped raise three generations of Southwest children!
The program and its staff will be honored during The Common Worship and Common Meal program at
the Common Place on Sunday, October 20. The Common Worship is a contemporary Christian service to
which all are invited. The Common Meal is a full, sit-down meal that is served after worship.
Myers Tots has been providing quality, Pre-K daycare for children for the past 30 years. In many cases, the students are children and even grandchildren of parents who attended the Tots program.
On attentive duty during the tenure of the Tots program at Myers Recreation Center has been Edna Reddick and her loyal staff – providing the only minority-operated daycare program in a city recreation facility. Myers Tots also organizes a summer camp for young children – also based at Myers. Both the school year and the summer programs feature instructive visits to the zoo, Bartram’s Garden, Presby’s Senior Center, and Heinz Wildlife Refuge.
