Dear Philly Spring Cleanup Volunteers and Southwest Block Captains

By: Keith Warren, Deputy Commissioner – Sanitation Division

Your passion, your spirit, and a whole lot of togetherness helped make last year’s Philly Spring Cleanup a shining success. I want to personally thank you for that. It’s devoted residents like you who help make our City a cleaner place to live. In the end, thousands of volunteers came together to roll up their sleeves last year – working on hundreds of projects and collecting hundreds of thousands of pounds of trash. All in one day! Believe it or not, we expect this year to be even bigger and better.

The 13th Annual Philly Spring Cleanup will be held on Saturday, April 4th. Volunteer registration is now open at PhillySpringCleanup.com. So find a project across the street or across town – and be sure to get your family, friends, and neighbors to join you. We’re looking forward to another fantastic day. It takes a team to make it clean!
