The Martin Luther King, Jr., holiday is an official day of service and celebrates the civil rights leader’s life and legacy. Each year the day is used to empower people to give back to their community.

Join us for this annual day of service in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Your volunteer efforts can make an incredible difference in our Southwest neighborhood! Volunteers must register below to participate! This year’s day of service will take place at Glenda Anne Memorial Garden (5900 Greenway Avenue). We’ll be mulching and weeding the park, as well as cleaning up the block, and more!

Warm drinks and light refreshments will be provided, as well as work gloves, trash bags, and other supplies.
