Representative Joanna McClinton held her annual Southwest Philly Turkey Giveaway on Saturday, November 21 at Myers Recreation Center at 58th Street and Kingsessing Avenue.
In partnership with King Saladden Art, they gave away more than 300 turkeys to families where buying a thanksgiving meal is a hardship. In the year of the pandemic, there were more people in this situation than usual.
