School District of Philadelphia Makes Student Learning Guides Available During District-wide School Closures

PHILADELPHIA — Learning Guides for all School District of Philadelphia students grades K-12 are now available online and will also be made available at all 30 grab-and-go meal distribution sites beginning March 17. The English Language Arts and Mathematics learning guides are provided as optional resources for students while schools remain closed through March 27.

“While completion of the learning guides is not mandatory, it is highly encouraged,” said Superintendent William R. Hite, Jr., Ed.D. “It is extremely important that all students continue to have access to learning opportunities during this time.”

The School District of Philadelphia has also created a Learning Guide hotline for students to call if they have questions. Starting Tuesday, March 17th, students and families who need assistance can call the hotline at (215) 400-5300, Monday – Friday from 9:30 -11:30 a.m.
