Southwest CDC Completing First House for Affordable Homeownership

After several years of hard work, SWCDC is completing its first ever house for affordable homeownership.  Located near S56th Street and Springfield Avenue, the house is large at 1,400 square feet.  It has three bedrooms including a master-suite with private bath.  All together there are three and a half baths.  The house has been completely renovated and has a new kitchen with granite counter tops and central air.  This beautiful home will be quite a buy for the right family.

SWCDC acquired this house from PHA, and because of that we are restricted in who we can sell it to.  The total family income must not exceed 80% of area medium income (AMI).  The income requirements for this house are based on the FY 20129 income limits.  For Philadelphia the 80% AMI limits are as follows, based on the Philadelphia AMI of $90,100:

Family Size

12345678
$50,500$57,700$64,900$72,100$77,900$83,650$89,450$95,200

Southwest CDC has acquired two other houses from PHA and we will be rehabbing them for affordable homeownership as well.  If you think you may qualify and/or are interested in this home contact Steve Kuzmicki at 215-729-0736 or steven@southwestcdc.org.
