On Thursday March 9th, Room 400 in the iconic City Hall was filled with influential Philadelphia women. In honor of International Women’s Day and March being Women’s History Month, Councilmember Jamie Gauthier of West Philadelphia introduced and1 passed a City Council resolution honoring 13 West and Southwest women working to make their communities joyful and safe places to live. One of these 13 women was Lorraine Thomas, Operations Manager at Southwest CDC.
