Are the myths and legends about strange ancient animals like dragons, centaurs. Unicorns, mermaids and the sphinx true? Were they once real beings? Certainly, the Harry Potter series has brought many of these magical beings right into our living rooms through TV!

On Tuesday, August 18, at 3:00 p.m., the Paschalville Branch of the Philadelphia Free Library will host a special online program entitled Join “Real Life or Fanta-Sea?”  Young and old can join friends at Adventure Aquarium for this special online program.

Participants will have the chance to explore the roots of folklore, legends, and myths about different animals. Where did the inspiration for unicorns and dragons come from? How do stories and rumors spread over time to become such universal tales like the princess and the frog? Join us as we explore these questions and meet some of the animals behind the myth!

Registration is required, to register please email walkerj@freelibrary.org or call Paschalville Library at 215-685-2662.
