The children at three Access Centers received a real gift and a virtual visit from Santa last Friday. It was a nice way to end a week of virtual school and to celebrate the holiday season.
The Access Centers at Finnegan Playground, Myers Rec. Center and Cobbs Creek Rec Center participated. The Access Centers were set up by the City of Philadelphia to provide children who are too young to stay home and whose parents need to work during school hours, a place to be go to do their online schooling.
The event was sponsored by Pacifico Ford. They have been giving back to families, especially children this year. They provided children a Trunk or Treat event and have given families much needed food.
Kerry and Maria Pacifico are following in their late father, Kerry Pacifico’s footsteps by giving back to the community of Southwest Philadelphia.
