The Cobbs Creek Ambassadors are planning their fourth annual Cobbs Creek Summer Festival on Saturday, September 12th from 11am-3pm at Thomas Ave & Cobbs Creek Parkway just north of Whitby Ave. The rain date is Sunday, 9/13. The FREE event is full of activities including horseback riding, fishing, bird watching, a bounce house, food, and more!

Council President Johnson is pleased to announce that his office will be providing free food on a first-come-first serve basis to constituents in need on Tuesday, July 14th, at the 12th District Police station in Southwest Philadelphia starting at 12:30 PM. He is partnering with Caring for Friends and Allegheny West Foundation to make sure the community has access to fresh, nutritious food. Bring a friend, relative, or neighbor. See you there!
